It's quick and easy to sign up for our gift registry! Just enter your name, the date of the event for which you are registering (if applicable), and a shipping address if you would like gifts to be sent directly to you. Then select a user name and password to use when you want to add or modify items you've added to the directory, choose whether you want the list to be visible only to yourself or to the general public, and submit to be registered.

Thanks to my incident last week with the attempted mugging, it turns out I have some pretty bad injuries. It is amazing how your adrenaline can fool you and you don't feel the pain until later. I have an appointment with the Orthopedic for Friday to check out my neck, back and shoulder. I am pretty sure I tore something in my right shoulder and with all the poping and cracking I am hearing, I need it checked out. As far as the neck and back go I have never had so much pain. All because of a jerk who wanted to steal my purse (at lease he was unsuccessful at that).

Grandparents Day! Yes it is a day!

Sunday September 9 is Grandparents day. Did you know that? Either did I until last weekend while in a kids favorite stuff a bear store (you know the one). There was a sign that said Sunday Sept. 9 is grandparents day! So research a bit I did and yes believe it or not it really does exist. A woman by the name of Marian McQuade came up with the idea to set aside a day for grandparents so that it would encourage families to visit the elderly. In 1978 this idea reached the White House and there you have it, National Grandparents Day!

This Sunday, take your kids to visit Grandpa & Grandma or Nana & Papa or Me Ma and Pop Pop. Whatever they call them, give them a special gift! Some time with their grandchildren! If you can't take them there than give them a call! It will make them smile for sure!
